Shop7 (“we”, “us”) runs the website shop7.in, where shop owners create an online shop and receive orders. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. By using the service you agree to it.

1. Information we collect

• Shop owners: mobile number, shop name, email address (when asked), password (stored only as a one-way hash), business and shop details, plan and payment records.
• Verification: one-time passwords (OTP) sent to your WhatsApp number or email to confirm that the number or email belongs to you. Codes are stored only in scrambled form and expire in minutes.
• Shop customers: when someone places an order in a shop, the name, phone number, address and order details they type are stored for that shop owner.
• Technical data: IP address, browser/device type, and login or error logs for security and fraud prevention. A small cookie keeps you signed in, and your browser stores your shopping cart on your own device.

2. How we use it

• To create and run your shop, show products, and deliver orders to the shop owner.
• To verify identity, prevent misuse of someone else’s number, and keep the service secure.
• To process plan payments, send service messages (activation, expiry, support) and respond to you.
• To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Shop customers’ data

For orders placed in a shop, the shop owner decides why and how the customer’s details are used, and is responsible for them. We store and process that data only to provide the service on the shop owner’s behalf.

4. Who we share data with

• Payment gateways (such as Razorpay, PayU, Cashfree) and UPI apps, to process payments. They handle card, UPI and bank details under their own policies; we never see or store full card or bank credentials.
• Messaging and email providers (such as WhatsApp / Meta, your email provider), to deliver OTP and service messages.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers that store our data securely.
• Authorities, when required by law.

5. Security and retention

We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, encrypted storage of payment-gateway keys and access controls. No system is perfectly secure. We keep data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal, tax and dispute purposes, then delete or anonymise it.

6. Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by contacting us below. Deleting data may end your shop. Customers of a shop should contact that shop owner for their order data.

7. Children

The service is for business use by adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version. Continued use means you accept the update.
